Planning for a Food Secure Future in Western Australia

With travel restrictions easing, Perth NRM is heading out for stakeholder consultation as part of the WA Food Security Plan Stage Two.

Perth NRM recently partnered with the City of Wanneroo to facilitate the ‘Towards a WA Food Agenda’ workshop.

Food Future is an initiative of Perth NRM and forms one of it's three main programs. Food Future is about ensuring the generations to come have access to safe, healthy and local fresh food.

Pathways for regeneration from Farm to Fork

Perth NRM's Regenerative Farmers' Network (RFN) welcomed Charles Massy, author of 'Call of the Reed Warbler', to WA hosting several events during his visit.

The Food Future WA initiative is similar to the Melbourne Food Plan, where both Melbourne and Perth are expected to undergo major population growth and need a plan to create a resilient city food bowl.
