Call for Nominations: Board Directors

26th March, 2024

Perth NRM invites nominations from suitably qualified people for two Board of Management positions.

Perth NRM is a highly regarded for-purpose organisation in the natural environment management (natural resource management – NRM) sector. We collaborate with governments (federal, state and local), community, academics and the corporate sector to deliver solutions to environmental issues. Our purpose is to empower people to positive ecological impact. We do this through coordination and support of agriculture, coastal and landcare programs.

Perth NRM invites nominations for two positions on our Board of Management, the governing body for Perth NRM. One of the two positions we are seeking to appoint may be considered to chair the Committee for Finance, Audit and Risk (CFAR). The duties, responsibilities and term of the Board of Management are presented in our Constitution. We are seeking nominations from suitably qualified and/or experienced individuals to fill Director vacancies for a three-year term, with possibility for extension. We particularly encourage people from diversity groups to apply.

This is a remunerated position. Board members also undertake sub-committee duties. There is an expectation of attendance at the six annual Board meetings, the AGM, and attendance at sub-committee meetings as required.
