CCA Survey Prizewinners!

13th October, 2021

A big thank you to everyone that participated in the 2021 Community Capacity Assessment surveys. As promised, it's time to announce the two random prize draw winners.

As part of the Community Capacity Assessment project, Perth NRM conducted two online surveys (one for individuals, one for groups) to get input fron on-ground volunteers into the needs and successes of community-led conservation.

Perth NRM offered a modest prize, drawn at random from participants in each survey.

We are excited to announce that the winner of the Survey for Individual Volunteers is Sarah Blake, who volunteers at the Darling Range Wildlife Shelter. Congratulations to Sarah, she has won a $100 Bunnings Voucher.

For the Survey for Group Representatives, we offered a prize of $500 for the group, to support the work they do.

We congratulate the Friends of Lake Claremont and their survey respondant Nick Cook [pictured below], for contributing their time, knowledge and experience to our survey.

“Friends of Lake Claremont have worked closely with Perth NRM for many years now,” Mr Cook said. “The support we have received for our wetland restoration project has been invaluable.

“LandCare groups need all the support that they can lay their hands on and Perth NRM has great resources and networks to assist Friends groups to continue their important work.”

The 2021 Community Capacity Survey project is supported by funding from the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program.
