Join us for an evening of presentations from scientific, mapping and campaign experts about what the draft Forest Management Plan 2024-2033 (FMP) does and doesn’t promise, and how we can work together to secure a forest protection plan we can all celebrate.

Between presentations from Dr Hugh Finn, Daniel Jan Martin and Jess Beckerling you’ll be treated to live music from Oceanique whilst you grab dinner from the fantastic Fare Go Food Truck and pair it with local wine and beer from our bar.

Thanks to decades of work by everyone in the forest community, we are on track to end native forest logging and protect at least a further 400,000 ha of forest. But the work is not over yet, the next step is to secure a robust and reliable forest protection plan for 2024-33 that also details acceptable management of thinning, fire and mining. The draft FMP is open for public comment until 18 December.
