Did you know Perth NRM are registered with containers for change?
Supporters can quote our scheme ID (Perth NRM Member number: C10428043) when dropping eligible containers to a refund point, and the 10c per item will be donated to Perth NRM. Eligible containers include most glass, plastic, aluminium, steel and paper based cartons between 150ml to 3L.
We’ve been so lucky to have supporters that stretch as far north as Kununurra in Western Australia. With the funds donated, we’ve been able to extend our support to ‘Friends of’, Landcare and Coastcare groups in our region.
In 2023, Perth NRM converted some of our donations through Containers for Change into Small Grant Funds for local environmental groups.
Volunteer groups had the option to receive a reimbursement of up to $200 towards the cost of accredited First Aid training for key personnel or first aid supplies, purchase of tools, equipment or personal protective equipment (PPE).
As well as a range of reimbursements paid, we also supplied $200 Bunnings vouchers to the approved applicants in August.
