Congratulations to the 2021 SALP Grant Recipients!
The Swan Alcoa Landcare Program (SALP) is a joint initiative of Alcoa, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and Perth NRM, established to provide a simple process for community groups to access funding for on-ground environmental works.
Since its inception in 1998, SALP has provided more than $9.2 million in funding to community groups, who in turn have delivered more than 1400 restoration projects, ranging from weeding and planting to feral animal control and the creation of wildlife habitat.
These are the recipients of the SALP grants in the 2021 funding year.
Their work was celebrated at a breakfast ceremony held at the University Club of Western Australia on Tuesday, 25 February 2021.
