Build nest boxes this July School Holidays with special presenter Simon Cherriman of the Re-Cyc-Ology Project and the ReWild Perth team. Learn what we can do in our communities and backyards to support wildlife and especially vulnerable species like the Black cockatoos. Plus, meet ‘Rex’, a Baudin’s black cockatoo from Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre!

Small nest boxes will be donated to participants from ReWild Perth, while the 2 large nest boxes to support cockatoos will be installed in Kalamunda thanks to the City of Kalamunda, including one at Walliston Primary.

Tickets are $10/adult, free for children under 15y/o. Please note, parents must stay with children.
Afternoon tea provided.

This workshop is powered by Perth NRM’s ReWild Perth Program with thanks to our major supporter, Lotterywest. Thanks to the City of Kalamunda’s support – providing a wonderful venue and an additional 2 habitat boxes through their Adopt-A-Patch program!
