Welcome to our e-newsletter service. Perth NRM manages a number of newsletters using this service, so please be sure to manage your subscriptions by checking the appropriate boxes in the form below.
Perth NRM e-news (monthly) www.perthnrm.com
This newsletter attempts to highlight the wide range of activities that Perth NRM is involved in, working in partnership with government and community groups to progress a sustainable approach to managing our natural resources (including people) across landcare, bushcare, wetlands, traditional ecological knowledge, sustainable agriculture and more. We also provide links to events of interest to these groups in addition to feature articles and updates.
Audience: General public, government, community groups, practitioners, academics.
RegenWA e-news (monthly) www.regenwa.com
This newsletter focuses on news, events and advocacy of the Regenerative Farmers Network (RFN), supported by Perth NRM. Regenerative Farming attempts to manage agriculture and farming practices in a manner that sustains food production and the quality of the land, using techniques that are water and energy sensitive and increase the carbon sequestration potential of our farmland. This is an exciting pathway to our future food production that can improve the land we depend on for locally produced food.
Audience: Farmers, Producers, Government, Investors, Scientists, Academics and special interest groups.
Food Future e-news (infrequent) www.foodfuture.com.au
This is a newsletter for people interested in local food security and the food supply chain. Western Australia currently has no food security plan to manage the production of safe, local, healthy food for a population expected to double in the coming decades. Perth NRM is currently advocating for bipartisan support for a food security plan and working with partners to develop standards and pathways to ensure we retain access to fresh food.
