Adopt A Beach

The Adopt A Beach program helps schools experience, learn about and conserve our coastal and marine environments with in-class activities and excursions.

Coastal + Marine

Perth NRM works with community groups, schools and local councils to preserve, protect and enhance the coastline and beaches in our region.

Coastal Capacity Building

This wide-ranging project, funded by Coastwest, incorporated a number of coastal, cultural and community activities to increase engagement with coastcare projects in our region.

Fish Habitat Restoration Project

Creating new Black Pygmy Mussel beds in the upper Swan-Canning Estuary may improve overall estuary health and provide a food source encouraging the repopulation of key fishery species.

Food Future

Food Future is about ensuring the generations to come have access to safe, healthy and local fresh food.

Perth NRM has been instrumental in the establishment of RegenWA, a network of committed WA farmers and stakeholders who are implementing and sharing their experiences in Regenerative Agriculture.

Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator

Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitators (RALFs) form a nationwide Community of Practice, providing regional expertise to the local agricultural sector to access assistance and develop new programs.

ReWild

ReWild Perth is an initiative to 'Bring Nature Home' and encourage people to provide native habitat in their gardens, courtyards or balconies.

Sediment Task Force

The Sediment Task Force is funded by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and supported by Perth NRM

The Noongar Six Season Walks has quickly become one of our most popular community programs, combining Traditional Ecological Knowledge from Elders and an environmental activity.

This project is currently targeting the Middle Canning region of our major river systems, with support from the Australian Government's Environmental Restoration Fund.
