In celebration, Perth NRM and Tangaroa Blue are teaming up to clean up the litter and marine debris from Challenger Beach, with funding and support from Alcoa Australia.

And it’s a special one! 2024 marks twenty years since Tangaroa Blue Foundation was founded and the first WA Beach Clean-up event that took place.

EVENT DETAILS:

• Date: Saturday, 12 October 2024
• Time: 9:00am-11:30am
• Location: Challenger Beach, Naval Base, Sutton Road
• Meeting point: Noot Boat Ramp, off Sutton Road
• To bring: Water bottle, sun and/or rain protection
• What’s provided: Gloves, bags, tongs, sharps containers, marquee for shade
• Registration: Free! Children under 16 need to be supervised by a parent or guardian.
