Have you ever wondered where the beach went after a big storm? What you’re noticing is coastal erosion, the loss of sediment from waves, currents, and winds!

Build a beach and test the impact of coastal waves, storm surges and rising sea levels. Explore coastal erosion, its impact on the beach, and what we can do to protect our coasts!

This STEM activity is fun for the whole family – please supervise children at all times – and be prepared to get sandy and wet!
