Every year thousands of schools and community groups plant seedlings as part of National Tree Day.
In 2025 Perth NRM will support 10 schools with a package of 50 native seedlings each for national Schools Tree Day on Friday 25 July. Specially grown to suit your local area these seedlings will help to ReWild Perth and bring nature back to our suburbs.
Successful schools will be invited to a celebratory event at the Wetlands Centre Cockburn to collect their seedlings and have a tour of the specialist nursery.
Applications are open from Monday 26 November to Monday 16 December 2024.
Groups wishing to apply for a small grant can fill in the form below with the following information:
- Name and address of school
- Contact person details, name, email and phone number
- A short paragraph (up to 100 words) detailing why participating in Schools Tree Day is important to their students and local environment.
A small panel will assess the applications, and schools will be advised by Friday 7 February 2025.
