Call for Nominations

Perth Region NRM Inc (Perth NRM) is an independent for purpose environmental organisation with a focus on sustainability within our growing city and agriculture sector. We develop and manage projects and events, build support through collaborative networks, corporate volunteering, grants, sponsorships, and fundraising. Perth NRM seeks to empower people to deliver positive ecological impact so we may all live in thriving natural ecosystems with sustainable food production.

Perth NRM invites nominations for a position on our Board of Management, the governing body for Perth NRM. The duties, responsibilities and term of the Board of Management are presented in our Constitution. We are seeking nominations from suitably qualified and/or experienced individuals to fill Director Vacancies for a three-year term, with possibility for extension. We encourage people from diversity groups to apply.

Essential selection criteria: We are looking for applicants who reside in the greater Perth area (or not more than 200 km from the CBD); are able to work in Australia with no restrictions; not be convicted of any corporate offences or be disqualified from being a director; and not have a material conflict of interest with the business of Perth NRM.

Desirable selection criteria: Preference will be given to people with skills in natural resource management, financial management, fundraising/philanthropy and/or agriculture.

The Board will also consider applicants for a role as a Board Trainee for people seeking experience on not-for-profit boards and the NRM sector. Emerging professionals are encouraged to apply for this role.
