This year’s Phytophthora Dieback Conference is asking you to think big and share your ideas and knowledge to ensure that community, government and industry can work together to combat Phytophthora Dieback and other plant pathogens affecting our native flora.

Dr Richard Walley OAM and Te Tui Shortland will share their perspectives on how Indigenous wisdom can be incorporated into managing natural assets. Participants will hear about the steps being undertaken in New Zealand to combat Kauri Decline and hear from Dr Paul Barber and PhD candidates about the role of technology in managing the pathogen.

Delegates will be asked to use your experiences and what you learned during the conference to identify future actions for the Dieback Working Group and to help determine strategic choices for management of Phytophthora Dieback in Western Australia.
