Over 90 guests gathered at Perth City Farm to learn the secrets of delicious, nutritious food and the link between healthy soil and healthy food.
Those in attendance enjoyed canapes surrounded by the beautiful gardens of Perth City Farm where Chris Ferreira’s new book; A Place in the Country was launched.
An amazing 3-course sit down meal was enjoyed whilst guests listened to a “how to” from gardening experts on growing your own food and improving your soils, and guest chef Tim Kershaw offered guests tips on how to cook your own amazing produce in simple and delicious ways.
Perth NRM’s Regenerative Farmers Network Project Manager, Justin Wolfgang, presented on Regenerative Farming during the evening, linking some of the growers present and their produce in the meals. Dr Amanda Devine from ECU spoke about linking our gut health and food we eat.
