We have been celebrating AgDay at Perth NRM and our industry partnership with WA Stonefruit!
The initiative allows Perth NRM to provide capacity to WA Stonefruit when growers are busy picking and packing the fruit to get to the shops and into the hands of consumers.
The Perth Hills is the major stone fruit production region in WA and stone fruit season has begun with fresh picked nectarines, peaches and apricots hitting the market shelves all over Perth and WA.
Look for WA produce in store by looking for a WA sticker and asking your green grocer for WA grown nectarines and peaches. Many producers also attend farmers markets in the city or have farm gates sales during the season, make sure you get your hand on the delicious fresh produce now it is in season.
